As part of an occasional series where we cast an eye over the Princeton, NJ rental and real estate market, we invite you to comment on a local listing that we have pulled more or less at random off Craigslist.
Today we have a studio, 1-ba apartment right on Palmer Square. Full listing here. There is no separate bedroom, but as the listing notes:
The unit also has its original fireplace and mantel, which is still fully operational. Original built-in bookcases are located at both sides of the fireplace. Also, you will, as a resident of the unit, have access to a “private” Palmer Square courtyard with a large patio area and water fountain. [You can, in the privacy of the Palmer Square community, enjoy reading/relaxing at one of the wrought iron tables. The courtyard is remarkably tranquil and energizing.]
What do you think: Is this a good deal?
$1450 seems steep for a studio, but you can’t argue with that location. Sounds like the kitchen is pretty ‘compact’ – personally that would be a deal-breaker, but it might work for those who don’t like to cook since you’d have your pick of dining options literally steps away. I wonder if you get a lot of noise from the street at night?

Amazing! This blog looks exactly like my old one!
It’s on a entirely different topic but it has pretty much the same page layout and design.
Wonderful choice of colors!
