A new figure has appeared on Nassau Street in Princeton! Fowler’s Gulf Service Station at 271 Nassau Street has since 2017 attracted visitors to see the “Sea Sea Rider” sculpture of famed New Jersey rocker, Bruce Springsteen. In recent weeks, the statue of Springsteen has been joined by one of Clarence Clemons, the long-time saxophonist from the E Street Band.
The Clarence Clemons statue is the latest work from Princeton sculptor, Stephen Zorochin. It is not clear at this time if he will be adding other members of the E Street Band to the installation…

Zorochin is also responsible for another Bruce Springsteen installation, which is currently located at the south end of the Princeton Rail Station parking lot on Alexander Street. This bust, entitled ‘Soulful Humanitarian’, was originally installed in 2014 at the old Larini’s Service Station. Larini’s closed in 2015 and is currently an Enterprise car rental location.
I’m sorry but they don’t do justice to Bruce or Clarence
