With Thanksgiving over, many Princeton households are probably in the market for a Christmas tree (* other winter festivities are available). If you want to get one locally, the Boy Scouts of Troop 43 are again selling trees and wreaths in the field in front of the Princeton YMCA (map).
Note that the Scouts keep quite limited hours. They are only there on Saturdays from 11 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. and on Sundays from Noon – 3 p.m.
If you happen to own a fold-up shopping cart (available for just $34.99 at Ace Hardware in the Princeton Shopping Center), then it’s quite possible to put your tree in it and push it home, avoiding a car trip, and meaning that you won’t be finding pine needles in your vehicle for the next six months.
Otherwise, you can transport the tree yourself or get one delivered! You don’t even need to visit the site, you can just fill out the Troop 43 Online Christmas Tree order form and they will bring it to your home! A great way to get festive and support some local kids!!
